				DEAR CHW-National Education Collaborative and Friends-

&lt;h3&gt;CONSIDER JOINING THE APHA CHW SPIG&lt;/h3&gt;
The CHW Special Primary Interest Group of the American Public Health Association is asking CHWs and their allies to consider joining the SPIG and APHA this next year as we are very close to becoming a full voting Section of APHA.  Link to our most recent newsletter at the site noted at the end of this posting.

&lt;h3&gt;APHA CHW SPIG CALL FOR PAPERS DEADLINE UPDATED&lt;/h3&gt;- NOW DUE Feb 15
A current Call for Papers is out for the annual fall conference to be held Nov 7-11, 2009 in Philadelphia.  Visit apha.org to find out more.  Note that the CHW SPIG abstracts deadline has been changed to Feb 15, 2009; fyi various APHA Sections have diferent abstract deadlines throughout that week.   

&lt;h3&gt;CHW CURRICULUM SOUGHT!!!!&lt;/h3&gt;
The SPIG is especially interested in showcasing CHW curriculum this year. We wil hold a speical roundtable session featruing curriculum. Consider submitting an abstract about your curriculum resources; see details above. Feel free to contact me with questions about the session.
